A recent article, dated 12 March 2009, from Straits Times talks about some 1.1 million people are migrating to US every year. Coupled with the NET birth population gain of 1.85 million every year, that's about 3 million population growth every year in the USA. That's about 75% of the entire Singapore population every year!In a nutshell, ....
1) Mass Migration: People are moving from developing countries to developed countries.
2) USA is getting the bulk of these people.
The next question ...
Where will these people move in?
Ans: To cities where there're jobs, affordable housings, favorable taxes rates, pleasant living environment.
I glad that Walton is already in these places.
